Pursuivant Extraordinaire Test

The PE Test is used to prove basic knowledge of heraldry as used in the SCA by anyone wishing to advance to the rank of Pursuivant Extraordinaire in the West Kingdom College of Heralds.

It should be noted that this test is not required to advance from a Cornet (training herald) to a Pursuivant Extraordinaire, some heralds have absolutely no interest in "book" heraldry, for example. If the Vesper Principal Herald says that you are a PE, then that is your rank.
