Court Reporting -- Regional Notes

For each "region" of the Kingdom there are awards that have special Court Report requirements. Below is a breakdown of the special needs/requirements for some awards when reporting them.

Note that for each of the regions below, there is a note about getting the names of competition winners -- it is always best to try to do this BEFORE court. This can be difficult as sometimes the Arts and Sciences Minister (for example) doesn't know who the winner is when they ask you to be put on the court business. However, you are responsible for reporting these -- please find them and get the name after court if necessary, but most importantly, GET THE INFORMATION!!

Kingdom of the West

Countess -- Automatically a member of the Order of the Rose in the West Kingdom, however, for the purpose of the Court Report, this should be listed separately. It is a peerage in and of itself, and ranks with the Orders of Chivalry, the Laurel, the Pelican and Defense.

The Order of the Golden Poppy -- gives a Grant of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Golden Poppy/Grant of Arms" in this case. (This order will be closed soon -- March 2017, but until then ...)

The Royal Missle Company -- gives a Grant of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Royal Missle Company/Grant of Arms" in this case.

The Western White Scarf -- gives a Grant of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Western White Scarf/Grant of Arms" in this case. (This order is closed, but if there is a reaffirmation the information is important ...)

The Western Gold Scarf -- gives a Grant of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Western Gold Scarf/Grant" in this case.

The Order of the Western Lily -- gives an Award of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Western Lily/Award of Arms" in this case.

Leaves of Achievement (Leaf of Merit, Rose Leaf, Ash Leaf) -- gives an Award of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Leaf of Merit/Award of Arms" (use appropriate award name) in this case.

Court Baron/Baroness -- gives an Award of Arms if the recipient does not already have one. Please check! Should be entered as "Baron/Award of Arms" (or "Baroness/Award of Arms") in this case.

Roll of Western Heroes -- PLEASE note the number. The Ceremony may be up-to-date, but if possible check the awards list (click the link for the title here). Should be entered as "Western Hero [#]" in this case.

The Archery Champion of the West and The Order of Missile Champions -- during Coronation the Archery Champion is created, and they are also offered at the same time membership in the Order of Missile Champions. If they accept (and they are not already a member) then you need to report BOTH of these as separate entries in the Court Report. This is not automatically handled by the Golem Herald.

All Champions and Winners of Competitions and Other Items The Herald May Not Have Been Given The Recipient Name For -- IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GET THESE NAMES -- ask for the name(s) before court if the item is on court business. If the name(s) are not yet known because the competition has not occurred, FIND THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE AFTER COURT and get the name(s). This is a good sized list:

  4. The Wooden Spoon
  5. The Pied d'Argent
